STATEMENT ON GERMANWINGS FLIGHT ACCIDENT

The ETF has learnt with big sadness about the tragic accident of Germanwings flight 4U9525 en route from Barcelona to Dusseldorf over the French Alps today. As part of the aviation family, we wish to express our deepest condolences to all the families and the relatives of the victims who have lost their lives.

"Our thoughts are with the families of the passengers and crewmembers who died on duty. We are extending the solidarity of the fellow European cabin crew to all Germanwings colleagues " said Elisabetta Chicca, the Chair of the ETF Cabin Crew Committee.
